King of the Golden Hall

Le finished. x3 It took a bit longer to get the coloring going because I was waiting for something that never happened, alas. But the critique I received on the lineart was very helpful and, although I didn't use all of it, the bits I did use made it look much better. Cel-shading returns with a vengeance--I've overhauled my style this time, no more silly shines to deal with. Not too happy with the shines on the pillars, or the window (shading glass...? eww...), but otherwise I'm really happy with how it turned out.

So! Who is this guy and what's he doing in my gallery?! This is Hishra Dyrsin, king of the Territory (later known as Alnivar) in Bonde. His colors are gold and maroon, he's rather malicious, he likes bright, shiny things, and uh...he really hates dragons. Really. He hails from the prestigious Hishra clan of Brown Tyrannosaurs, and he used his influence to unite the dinosaur clans under him to attack the dragons of Talenterin to steal their land--the Territory had been turned to dust a couple hundred years previously by the humans of the West, bad humans! Anyway, he failed, and ran off into the Boundary to lick his wounds, not realizing that time doesn't run in a straight line there, and emerged four hundred years later to reignite the war against Talenterin. Yeah. He's actually a loser, though.
